24-HOUR MAJOR CRIME SUMMARY REPORT

NOTE: The following summaries are allegations of incidents that have been reported and are under investigation.

2nd Precinct
CIRCUMSTANCES: On Jan. 1, at approximately 12:10 a.m. in the 1160 block of Robson, the 53-year-old male complainant walked outside of the above location and confronted the suspect, telling him not to stand in front of his neighbor’s house. The armed suspect then fired one gunshot striking the complainant in the stomach and then fled on foot in an unknown direction.
WANTED: Suspect 1: Black male, 50’s, 130lbs, light complexion; armed with a small handgun.

5th Precinct
CIRCUMSTANCES: On Jan. 1, at approximately 2 a.m., in the 10500 block of Wayburn, the 45-year-old female complainant went outside of the above location to ask her neighbor’s guests, from a New Year’s Eve party, to move from in front of her house. An armed perpetrator fired several shots and wounded the complainant in the head and ear. The perpetrator then fled in a silver mid-90s Ford Taurus southbound on Wayburn. The victim was taken to a local hospital where she is listed in critical condition.
WANTED: Suspect: Black male, armed.

7th Precinct
CIRCUMSTANCES: On Jan. 1, at approximately 12 p.m., in the Mitchell/Illinois area, the 33-year-old male complainant arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound to the left hand. The complainant was in the above area, drinking at home (unknown address) the previous night, when he was shot.
WANTED: Suspect 1: Unknown

8th Precinct
CIRCUMSTANCES: On Jan. 2, at approximately 12 p.m., in the 15000 block of Ardmore, the 37-year-old male victim was involved in an altercation with the suspect who fired a shot, striking the victim in the body. He was listed in stable condition.
WANTED: Suspect: Black male, 17.

CIRCUMSTANCES:
On Jan. 2, at approximately 8:45 p.m., in the 17000 block of W. Eight Mile, the 39-year-old male victim was approached by the suspect who announced a hold-up. The suspect took the victim’s personal property and an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency. The victim was not injured.
WANTED: Suspect: Black male, 20s, large build and armed.

CIRCUMSTANCES: On Jan. 1, at approximately 2:55 a.m., in the 17300 block of Lenore, the 23-year-old female victim was found at the above location, in the front seat on the driver’s side of a black, four-door, 2008 Chevy Impala (Michigan license plate #CKF 5923), with a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim has died. Circumstances surrounding this incident are unknown at this time.
WANTED: Suspect: Unknown

CIRCUMSTANCES: On Jan. 1, at approximately 2:45 a.m., in the 22900 block of W. Eight Mile Road, the four complainants were inside of the above location when a fight began. The complainants attempted to stop the fight and were assaulted. Two victims were shot and two victims were cut. Three of the victims are listed in critical condition. One of the victims is listed in stable condition.
WANTED: Suspect: Black Male wearing a white T-shirt, black pants.

9th Precinct
CIRCUMSTANCES: On Jan. 2, at approximately 3:45 a.m., in the Six Mile and Dresden area, the 20-year-old male victim was involved in a dice game with the suspect. After leaving the location, the suspect pulled up in a vehicle (silver, Chevy Malibu) and fired shots, striking the victim in the body. He was listed in stable condition.
WANTED: Suspect: Black male, light complexion, braids, moustache, wearing a jogging suit, black Nike gym shoes and armed.

CIRCUMSTANCES: On Jan. 1, at approximately 12:22 a.m., in the 12000 block of St. Patrick, the 37-year-old male victim #1 (husband) accused 42-year-old female victim #2 (wife) of being unfaithful to him. An argument began between the two victims. Victim #1 shot victim #2 in the neck and then she wrestled the gun away from him and shot him. Victim #2 was taken to a local hospital where she is listed in critical condition. Victim #2 has died.

12th Precinct
CIRCUMSTANCES: On Jan. 2, at approximately 3 a.m., in the 17000 block of Washburn, the suspect knocked on the 44-year-old male victim’s front door and produced a weapon. As the victim shut the door, the suspect fired several shots into the location. The victim returned fire. No one was injured.
WANTED: Suspect: Black male, 20’s, 6’ 0”, 170 lbs., wearing all black and armed.
