Chief Craig holds Call to Action community forum

DPD Police Chief Call To Action FlyerDETROIT — Triumph Church will host Detroit’s new Chief of Police James E. Craig and his first-ever community event Oct. 5, at 10 a.m. inside its east campus, located at 2760 East Grand Boulevard at I-75 in Detroit.

The Call to Action community event is designed to empower citizens of Detroit with information to make their neighborhoods safer. It will begin with an address from Chief Craig, a question and answer session and a presentation. It continues through 2 p.m. with a fair-styled expo of representatives from organizations ranging from block clubs and neighborhood watch programs, to crime fighting tips and home security.

A host of city and neighborhood leaders will also be a part of the program. Admission to the event is free and the public is encouraged to attend.
