Closing schools leads to crime

Do you think there is a link between the closing of neighborhood schools and the rise in crime?
There are no more Boys & Girls clubs, so now robbing is a plot to come up. What else are they going to do? Real talk; if Daddy lost his job and Momma struggling, they do not see any hope. The kids are taking what they can get.

No. Closing of schools has nothing to do with the rising of crime. It’s the aftermath and they are using that as an excuse. It doesn’t help that schools are closed; there is nowhere to house the kids. I believe home school outdoes public school.

Yes. Since the drop out rate is high and teenagers are going to find something else to do, and it’s usually not constructive, especially if they do not have a positive influence in their home.
