DETROIT — Upscale and elegant is the only way to describe the New Year’s Eve party at The Cheesecake Bistro in downtown Detroit.
Folks from all over Michigan traveled downtown in their best attire to enjoy the festivities.
“We heard about the party on Twitter and we knew we had to come,” Dominique Rodgers told the Michigan Citizen. “These party promoters have a great reputation for promoting awesome parties.”
Rachelle Johnson says she attended because she knew the party would be “upscale.”
“T. Woods always has nice parties, he has been in the game a minute,” she said. Complimentary food and champagne toast was held in the VIP room.
Emanuel of New Wave Entertainment called The Cheescake Bistro an upscale environment.
“I have been hosting parties for seven years. This is T. Woods and I second party together,” he said. “We got a good response from advertising the party.”
Emanuel and T. Woods were not alone in promoting their inaugural NYE event. The collaboration included Ron Dance, Ty of District 81 and Ellebreaunna.
Ron Dance also celebrated his birthday party. The fashion was trendy with women wearing sequin dresses and men wearing suits and bow ties. Some women wore shorts with fishnet stockings with a blazer. High heel pumps were also trendy with the ladies. Guys were “popping bottles” in the VIP room.
Friends and family appeared to be enjoying themselves. Security was heavy so that everyone could feel safe.
The ambiance was classy and chic. The colors included gold, cream and black with candles that made the atmosphere cozy. Detroit definitely brought the new year in with style.
