HOPE is a one man stage play written and performed entirely by Detroit native, Jerry Ford and directed by New Jersey native, Turron Kofi Alleyne. This production is based on Jerry Ford’s life growing up in Detroit, MI. Through various characters, Jerry takes you on a tour of his childhood as he faces life or death situations on the streets of Detroit, from witnessing his older brother’s murder and getting arrested at 16 to getting admitted into Rutgers University. It is these life-altering experiences that instilled a fire in his will to succeed through any darkness. The show is approximately 72 mins. long. there will be a 2:00 pm matinee show and a 6:00 pm evening show. Tickets for the matinee show are $15 and the tickets for the evening show are $20.
