Transforming Love Community (TLC) a trans-denominational community where love transforms lives, and Reverend Shaheerah Stephens, Founding Minister, presents “How Sweet It Is” in honor of their 16th anniversary, Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the Athena Banquet Center, 25650 Gratiot Avenue, Roseville, MI 48118. The luncheon and workshop, begins at 12:00 noon and features Iyanla Vanzant, the New York Times bestselling author, spiritual life coach and host/producer of the break out hit Iyanla Fix My Life on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network. Founded by the Rev. Dr. Shaheerah Stephens, Transforming Love Community (TLC) is dedicated to uplifting, inspiring and engaging the community through informational workshops, lecture series and Sunday worship service. Stephens, an ordained Unity Minister, is a teacher, facilitator, author and motivational speaker with an international and national following. Transforming Love Community applies the teachings of Jesus and other spiritual masters, in a comfortable, nurturing environment. “How Sweet It Is” will be a fun filled, uplifting, informational afternoon with entertainment, vendors and sharing of useful techniques that can be applied to help us cope with the challenges of everyday life. Entertainment will be provided by the Voices of Transformation, led by Brian Holt and Jalil Johnson, with special guest Monica Blair.
