It makes no sense to work on yourself and then enter into or work to keep a relationship together with someone who refuses to do the same. When you have done the work to improve yourself and your quality of life, don’t turn around and invite someone into your life who doesn’t appreciate it.

Think about it this way: in the midst of your “waiting,” God is not only preparing you for a great person, he is also preparing a great person for you!
