“The banks got bailed out, we got sold out,” May Day protestors chanted as they marched through the streets of Detroit from Southwest’s Clark Park to downtown Detroit on May 1, making a stop in front of the historic, dilapidated Michigan Central Station in Corktown.

Over 400 community members and activists joined the protest in solidarity with May Day rallies worldwide to demonstrate against economic inequality.
