Thank you God, it wasn’t me

Thank you, father God, for somebody woke up today with an illness that they didn’t have yesterday and “it wasn’t me.”

Thank you, father God, for somebody woke up today without a job and they were working yesterday and “it wasn’t me.”

Thank you, father God, for somebody lost a loved one today but my family and friends were spared by your grace. It wasn’t me.

Thank you, father God, for someone lost their sight or use of their hands but “it wasn’t me.”

There are many stories of heartbreak all around us every day. We have to thank God for the little things that we overlook, but that are truly major blessings. With all of tragedy and pain in the world, thank God “it wasn’t me.”
