ROSEVILLE — In honor of its 16th anniversary, Transforming Love Community (TLC), a trans-denominational community, will host the event “How Sweet It Is” Oct.12 at the Athena Banquet Center, located at 25650 Gratiot Ave., Roseville.
The luncheon and workshop starts at noon and will feature New York Times bestselling author Iyanla Vanzant, who is a spiritual life coach and host/producer of the TV show “Iyanla Fix My Life” on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.
“How Sweet It Is” will include entertainment, vendors and the sharing of useful techniques that can be applied to the challenges of everyday life. Entertainment will be provided by the Voices of Transformation, led by Brian Holt and Jalil Johnson, with special guest Monica Blair.
